Job in Acting for a Paid Short Film

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking cast to play roles in a short film. More details are below. About the project: This is a fully self-funded and self-written/directed/shot/edited passion project which explores themes of loneliness in an era of unprecedented connectivity. The film touches on how technology has affected how we cope with loss and the ethical questions surrounding emerging online tools which have become increasingly accessible to the public. Rate: Non-union. $100 per day. A full 8-hour day with 45 minute lunch break and 15 dollar meal stipend provided. $50 per half day. A 4-hour half-day with no extended break and no meal stipend. Additional information: If hired, full-day or half-day availability on select Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday evening shoots possible, but rare. Shooting dates to be determined once all roles are cast and based on cast availability (est. August to September 2025). Shoots to take place in Winnipeg.
