Looking for experienced actors for "Miguel Takes Charge," a telenovela-style industrial film focused on educating Hispanic outdoor laborers about skin cancer prevention. More details can be found below. ONLY MD, VA & LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: Paid. Additional info: Seeking on-camera trained/experienced actors for an industrial film. Specifically seeking Bilingual -Native Spanish speakers who can speak in a Neutral Spanish Accent. The full script will be filmed in Spanish. Non union project. Shooting: 2-3 days - smaller roles only called for 1 or 2 days/half days: May 24, 25, 26, 31 and June 1, 8, 9 in the DMV – DC- Suburban Virginia and/or Maryland. Shooting will be working around cast availability. (Lead) - The protagonist – NATIVE Spanish Speaker Newly in Charge of the family business Hernandez Landscaping. Husband to Sofia and father of Tomas and Mia. Miguel is a man’s man, trim and fit – the picture of health. He is charming and very likeable, he knows everyone and is loved by all in his town. He is also very respectful of people and especially elders.
NATIVE Spanish Speaker - Miguel’s younger brother. Takes after his mom – he’s a fun-loving guy – always ready with a joke and to have a good time – though he doesn’t slack – he’s on the job! Just likes to have fun and make people happy.
NATIVE Spanish Speaker - Is very kind and instills her patients with hope while also very open and realistic about the situation. Smart and exuding positive energy.
NATIVE Spanish Speaker - The patriarch – founder of the family business and still a member of the admin team – though he has placed his son Miguel fully in charge. In his– Jorge is a man of few words – when he does speak everyone listens. He is very respected by all.
NATIVE Spanish Speaker - Wife to Jorge and mother of Miguel and Carlos.– Carmen is a fun loving mom and grandmother – doting on her grown children as if they were still kids and even more so on her grand kids.
NATIVE Spanish Speaker - Hernandez Landscaping worker – but has been with the company longer than Miguel as he was hired by and closer in age to Jorge. Old school, wise and also can be witty and charming.

Secondary Character. NATIVE Spanish Speaker Arturo’s wife – pals of Miguel and Sofia as their kids are in school together. Teresa is like Sofia – a matriarch. Sweet – but in charge where her family including her husband’s health and well-being are concerned.
