Acting Audition for "Perception" Film
Casting call in-person/by appointment for “Perception” movie. Actors & extras needed. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: Logline: As her 30th birthday grows nearer, a desperate photographer must pull out all the stops to find her soulmate and break the curse stealing her eyesight. Additional info: A non union production. Shooting dates: between June 6th - 9th (dates TBD). Actors, please apply for sides and an audition time slot. Also, if you cannot appear in-person to audition (05/10/2025, 1-5pm), apply to inquire about the possibility of a virtual or self-taped audition.

A cynical yet hopeful photographer who takes desperate measures to break the family curse on her eyes. Loves nature and family, would rather fawn over art than deal with people. Introvert-leaning ambivert. *Actress must be alright with wearing glasses and a fake tattoo. Must be alright with PG-rated physical touch scenes (i.e. hugging, holding hands, hand kiss).
Iris’ blind older sister; formerly optimistic, but more jaded due to failing to find her soulmate. She wants her sister to beat the odds, but can't help feeling like there's no use. Extrovert-leaning. *Actress must be alright with wearing colored contacts and a fake tattoo.
Iris’ soulmate. Authentic with a mild temperament. Can be playful, flirty, and kind. Appreciates good art and nature. Extroverted. *Actor must be alright with PG-rated physical touch scenes (i.e. hugging, holding hands, hand kiss).
