Acting Audition for "Crusader's Tale: Season Three"

Introduced in Season 3. Will be essential for the show. Genevieve, “Vievie,” was born in 1170 in France. Her father fell in battle while she was still an infant, in 1171, leaving his family destitute. Her mother wanted a better life for her child, and gave her up for adoption. Vievie remembers little to nothing of her birth parents, except for her mother’s face.

SUPPORTING ROLE. The Queen of England. Mother to King Richard the Lionheart and mother of Prince John the tyrant. Strong-willed, matriarchal figure. Recently raised money to pay a ransom for her son, to bail him out of an enemy prison. Head of the household, the glue that holds the family together. Humorless, hawkish, intolerant of ignorance nor foolishness. Noble, royal, elegant, proper-mannered, decent, haughty, elite.

SUPPORTING ROLE. Lord of the Ryson family and its castle and lands. Chief rival of the Lothar family. Bitter feud going back some generations. Furious that his daughter has fallen in love with a member of their rival family’s household. Seeks to get his daughter back home by any means, after she has run away. Lost his noble-born (eldest) son and heir to warfare. Tasks his illegitimate (second) son to bring the rival family to heel through any means. Starts a war to get back at their enemy

SUPPORTING ROLE. Field-hand / farmer in the village. Dutiful, hardworking father. Sturdy, stocky, steadfast.

GUEST ROLE Servant of the castle. Cares for the Lothar family. Kind, gentle, hard-working. Humble, faithful, loyal.
