More than two dozen classic hits- including “I Walk The Line”, “A Boy Named Sue”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, and the title tune—performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man In Black, that promises to be a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a unique musical legend! Though he is never impersonated, Johnny Cash’s remarkable life story is told through his music, climaxing in a concert that will both move and exhilarate! "KWEEN" SYNOPSIS: Kween is a play about a Cambodian-American teenager who finds her voice through slam poetry. The play explores themes of identity, queerness, and family, following the aftermath of her father’s deportation. Set in Lowell, Massachusetts. Rate: LORT Non-Rep $839 weekly minimum (LORT D) Additional info: Audition lunch 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM No roles will be understudied. PREPARATION Please prepare 2 one-minute contemporary monologues. Please bring your headshot and resume. Optional - for musical consideration: prepare 16-bars and bring sheet music in correct key. Accompanist will be provided. Season runs in Lowell, MA.
