Singing Opportunities in "The Rocky Horror" Show

(Range: Bari Tenor, Bb2-G4). Recent university graduate. Quirky, but very much in love with his fiancé, Janet. Overly optimistic at times. Loses his clothes throughout the story (no nudity).

(Range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, A3-Eb5). Recent university graduate who is madly in love with Brad. Always seems to be frightened of something. Keeps losing more of her clothes throughout the story (no nudity).

(Non-Singing Role). Follows the characters through the story by narrating directly to the audience. Will be the recipient of a lot of audience call-outs (i.e. "Boring!" and Booing) and should be comfortable with some improvisation to respond on occasion.

(Range: High Rock Tenor, D3-B4). One of Frank’s servants. Creepy man and caretaker of the castle. Often makes harmless conversation seem awkward and foreboding.

(Range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, Bb3-Eb5). One of Frank’s servants. Creepy maid who is getting tired of being a maid. Spies on houseguests and causes chaos where she can.

(Range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, E4-E5). One of Frank’s servants and past lovers. Loves to party with the Transylvanians until reminded of her former love (Eddie). Best friend to Magenta.

(Range: Baritone, D3-G4). Master of the castle. Welcomes Janet and Brad with open arms. Obsessed with creating a muscle-man to be part of his sexual entourage. Master of seduction.

(Range: Tenor, A3-G4) Frank’s magnificent creation. Sexually appealing with prominent muscles.

(Range: Baritone, E3-F#4). Scott is Eddie’s Uncle, and Brad and Janet's university professor. Wheelchair user who is investigating Frank.

(Soloist - Range: Baritone, E3-F#4). Eddie was one of Frank's past toys who 'went to pieces'. Misses the rock and role of life. Appears in one song, Hot Patootie, where he comes back to life only to die after his solo.

(Soloist - Range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, Bb3-Eb5) Opens the show with 'Science Fiction Double Feature', then becomes a Phantom/Transylvanian.

Various dancers/singers. Infuse's production will choreograph the movement of Phantoms as set pieces, for example the phantoms will use their bodies to create the body of the car that Brad and Janet drive. As Transylvanians, they do the Time Warp at Frank's castle. Ensemble will have opportunities for solo singing with the band's opening set each night.
