Seeking talent for "The Music Man" Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: A story about Harold Hill, a traveling salesman who goes about scamming people out of their money by selling boys bands. He finds himself in River City, Iowa to try to make a quick buck, but finds himself infatuated with the town librarian, Marian. Additional info: Everyone auditioning will need to come perform a 2-3 minute audition song (this does not need to be memorized) and be ready to do a cold read from the script. This show has a large cast with a wide range of ages, so everyone is encouraged to audition! If interested, please apply.

(Non singing) A traveling salesman who is onto Harold Hill and his schemes. His mission is to try and prove to everyone else in the story just how much of a con man Harold really is.
(Non singing) Seen in the beginning of the show to take our protagonist to River City Iowa.
(Tenor/ Baratone) The protagonist of the story. Harold Hill is a charismatic traveling salesman who cons people to buy the items necessary for a Boys Band. He eventually falls in love with Marian Paroo.
(Non singing) A self- important mayor of River City who is married to Eulalie
(Tenor) A member of the quartet formed by Harold Hill and married to Maude Dunlop
(Baritone) A member of the quartet formed by Harold Hill and married to Alma Hix
(High Tenor) A member of the quartet formed by Harold Hill and married to Mrs. Squires
(Bass) A member of the quartet formed by Harold Hill.
(Tenor) Harold Hill’s old friend and former conman who lives in River City trying to make a decent life for himself.
A young troublemaker who is courting the mayor’s daughter Zaneeta
(Soprano) The stuck up town librarian and music teacher. She is an attractive young woman who, after fighting off her feelings for quite a while, eventually falls in love with Harold Hill.
(Mezzo- Soprano) An Irish Widow and mother to Marian and Winthrop: (Male 8-12. Tenor) Marian’s little brother who is very shy due to his Lisp.
(Mezzo soprano/ Alto) The snobby wife of Mayor Shinn who is not one to keep her opinions to herself
(Mezzo Soprano) A “Pick-a-Little Lady” married to Oliver Hix
