Holden is a painter who is able to make a decent living selling his art. He does not paint for hire and simply creates whatever comes to his mind. He feels as if he’s doing the work of God and his personality often comes in the way of relationships.
Valentine is an accountant who works hard at her 9-5 job. She’s in her twenties and still finding her place in life, experimenting with different things and people. She once appreciated Holden’s quirkiness but is now ready to move on.
