Rate: TYA Actor: $615.00 weekly minimum, $95.50/per performance Actor/Assistant Stage Manager: $643.00 weekly minimum, $105.50/per performance Additional info: No roles will be understudied. Local Nashville, TN actors are encouraged to audition. Equity members without appointments will be seen as time permits. PREPARATION Prepare two contrasting monologues together totaling no more than (3) three minutes. To be considered for any musicals, please additionally prepare 16 bars of a show tune with sheet music to supply to accompanist in the desired key and include the 16 bars within your (3) three minute audition time. Please make sure to bring your book in case you are asked to sing an additional song. Please bring a current headshot and resume. If you play a musical instrument, please bring and play in addition to the monologue(s) and/or song. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Female Presenting, Soprano. A bird and a citizen of the Jungle of Nool. Very self--conscious, shy, and nervous at first, she grows into a kind and caring protector. She is in love with Horton and does what she can to get his attention, including foolishly growing an enormous feathered tail. She is a bit naïve at times, but always is a voice of reason.
