70’s. Stoic, stern, resilient. Recently widowed. Passionate about living out the rest of her years in her own home. Has a rocky relationship with David, because he thinks she should be put in a nursing home. Not incredibly friendly, but knows how to fake it when necessary. Complex and layered, lead character. Approx. 10 days.
Charming, sensitive and just a tad intimidating (mostly because of some badly placed tattoos). He is physically imposing, yet when you get to know him, he’s really a big, cuddly, teddy bear. Serious “big brother” vibes. A lead character. Approx. 11 days.
Drug dealer. Quite possibly the scariest dude you’ve never met. He’s a formidable character who exerts himself in a calm and calculated manner which makes him all the more terrifying. His presence is very much felt throughout the film, even when he’s not on screen. Supporting. Approx. 2 days.
Squirrelly, unkempt, greasy, a walking STD. Ex-diner worker who dabbles in the drug game, even if he’s not very good at it. Made it a point to harass all the young hostesses at work, even though his bark is worse than his bite and he never actually touched any of them. He’s a weasel for sure, but he probably has some redeeming qualities, even if he doesn’t exhibit any. Supporting. Approx. 3 days.
Gene’s son. He’s a well-to-do business man who takes after Gene’s lack of warmth and friendliness. David is, for lack of a better word, an asshole. He’s domineering and pushy. He always thinks he’s got the right solution for every problem. He’s the type of guy you root for to fail. Supporting. Approx. 5 days.
David’s wife, Carmen’s mother. Way too nice to be in a marriage with David, however doesn’t deny any of the perks his job affords her. Has a very easygoing relationship with Carmen even though they are more like best friends and less like mother/daughter. However, she is certainly capable of expressing a “mama bear” energy when her daughter is in trouble. Supporting. Approx. 7 days.
Drug dealer. Ghost’s right-hand-man. Tough and menacing. Supporting. Approx. 1 day.
Gene’s psychiatrist. He’s scholarly and bookish, much like you’d think a psychiatrist would be, yet his approach is slightly unconventional. There’s something a little less than trustworthy about him. Supporting. Approx. 7 days.
High schooler. She’s Gene’s granddaughter and David and Abby’s daughter. Smart, savvy and very capable. Feels more of an attachment to Gene than her own mother most of the time. Carmen is very protective of her grandmother. Supporting. Approx. 7 days.
