18-year-old high school senior. An artist at heart, he is determined to live his life on his own terms. From an well-off upbringing, he can sometimes sound out of touch with reality. A dreamer with a heart of gold, he would do anything to see his loved ones succeed. Sam's best friend since childhood, recent events will make him question the nature of his feelings for her.
Talya is a +5-year-old secretary. Single mom to a 17 year old teenage girl. She is constantly fighting for stability in her family life and for her daughters happiness. Ignorant of her daughters dreams of becoming an artist, she's pushing her towards a career in medical science, thinking that it will provide a solid basis. Being busy with work and her multiple responsibilities as a single mom, she has trouble understanding her frustrations, which often leads to small fights between.
