About the project: Hair is a joyous, energetic celebration of youth and a poignant journey through a pivotal moment in American history. With a powerful rock score and a message of love, freedom, and resistance, Hair captures the spirit of the 1960s counterculture revolution. Additional info: Performance Dates: July 18th – August 3rd, 2025 (12 performances) Rehearsals Begin: May 19th, 2025 Audition Requirements: Prepare 32 bars of a rock/pop song in the style of the show (Hairsongs welcome). Bring sheet music in your key (an accompanist will be provided) or a karaoke track cued and ready to play (Bluetooth speaker provided). Be ready to learn a short movement/dance combo.
