About the project: It’s Okay is a visual poem, an intimate exploration of vulnerability, self-acceptance, and healing, centered around the journey of a Black woman learning to embrace her softer side. Guided by her partner’s gentle encouragement, she begins to confront the parts of herself she’s hidden away, the insecurities, the self-doubt, the fear of not being enough. The visual poem is a reflection on what it means to be truly seen and loved, not in spite of her complexities but because of them. Rate: Gas and food will be covered for all actors.
