Seeking Talents for Sherlock Holmes on Outdoor Stage
Comedic send-up in a 30-minute show, Sherlock Holmes...with a Twist, to be performed on the outdoor stage, at Gillette Castle State Park, 67 River Rd, East Haddam CT. Rehearsals begin evenings, some weekend afternoons, in May, based on talent and director's schedules. Need CT based male actors, ages 25-60 to play Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson and various other characters. Looking for outgoing personalities, as there is audience participation as foley (sound effects) Two 30-minute shows run weekend afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays only, June 14-July 20, 2025. Stipend paid for the season. Commitment is roughly Noon - 4:00pm Sides will be sent in reply to email stating interest in auditioning. Accepting recorded audition submissions.

Smart sleuth, leads the show, play within a play. Actor plays an actor playing Sherlock Holmes. Comedic timing and British accent, with great articulation and projection.
Actor plays an actor portraying Dr. Watson, and Dr. Roylott (from Holmes' story Speckled Band), as well as street urchin Billy. At times this actor portraying an actor has to talk and respond as multiple characters. Comedic timing, articulation, British and or Scottish accent, great projection.
