Audition for Short Movie "The Call"

About the project: Synopsis: A young man receives a life altering phone call from an elderly care facility nearly sixty years before it’s sent. Brief Description: The Call follows an elderly man living in a nursing home. As he reflects on his past, he overhears a woman making a phone call—one he vividly remembers receiving 60 years earlier. But how can that be? Did he receive the call decades before it was ever made? Rate: Non-union performers are welcome to apply. Volunteer position. However, participants will have access to demo-reel footage, which can be utilized for casting on websites. Additional information: Venue: Production will take place near or within the Halifax Regional Municipality. Timeline: Production is expected to commence in June 2025 and conclude the following month. The anticipated schedule spans three days, with a commitment of approximately four hours per day. End Goal: The objective is to submit the project to film festivals.
