About the project: After a cop encounters a faith healer during a routine call, his world is turned upside down. The healer’s mysterious abilities and cryptic wisdom leave him questioning everything he thought he knew about life, faith, and the nature of power. What begins as a simple case soon spirals into a series of events that forever alters his perception of reality, blurring the lines between the physical and the supernatural. Rate: This is a SAG-AFTRA production. All lead and supporting roles will be contracted under the applicable SAG-AFTRA agreement. LEAD ROLE. Harlow is a grizzled and cynical detective, hardened by years of navigating the gritty underbelly of the city. With a sharp mind and a sharp tongue, he’s seen it all—betrayal, corruption, and the countless gray areas of justice that most people are too naive to understand. Beneath the tough exterior, however, lies a man who's disillusioned with the system yet still holds onto a sliver of hope that his work can make a difference, no matter how small.
LEAD ROLE. Sorel is a man whose rugged, disheveled appearance—complete with worn-out clothes and an air of neglect—gives the impression of a homeless crack addict, yet his demeanor defies this assumption. Despite his grungy exterior, there’s an unsettling serenity about him, exuding confidence, calm, and an almost ethereal positivity that seems out of place in even the darkest situations.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Fully restored to health, the woman radiates vitality and strength, her body revitalized and free from the traces of past injury or illness. She moves with grace and confidence, her eyes gleaming with renewed energy and a sense of inner peace, as if the healing has awakened something profound within her.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Woman #2 is a disheveled figure with ragged clothes and a gaunt face, bearing the visible toll of long-term substance abuse. Her greasy, tangled hair and jittery movements hide the deep sadness in her eyes, a glimpse of the person she was before addiction took over.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Man #1 stands tall, his body fully healed, the visible signs of past injuries completely gone. His posture is straight, and his movements are fluid, radiating a renewed strength and energy.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Man #2 is a rough, ragged figure, his face hardened by addiction and eyes bloodshot with anger. He stands defiantly, shaking with frustration and contempt as he tells the cop off, his voice harsh and unyielding despite the chaos in his appearance.
BACKGROUND EXTRAS. (6 Total) A mix of drug addicts, homeless individuals, and drunks fill the streets, their tattered clothes and weary faces reflecting lives spent on the fringes. Each person drifts through the chaos, lost in their own struggles, disconnected from the world around them
