The theatrical show "Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical" is in search of males and females. Review the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Matilda is a gifted young girl with a sharp mind and magical abilities. Though misunderstood by her family and terrorized by her school’s cruel headmistress, Matilda uses her courage and cleverness to stand up for what’s right and change her story — and the lives of those around her. Additional info: Prepare a 16–32 bar cut of a musical theatre song NOT from Matilda. Bring a backing track (MP3) or sing a cappella — no accompanist provided. Callbacks: Tuesday, April 29 | 6:00–10:00 PM. Callbacks will include readings, songs from the show, and possibly a dance call. Rehearsals: May 12 – June 19 | Mon–Fri, 6:00–10:00 PM.
