About the project: After his best friend vanishes, a high schooler clashes against a world that has erased all evidence his friend ever existed. Where’s Malcolm? narrates both protest and tragedy stemming from stories of discrimination and inequity Black (and minority) children face in the classroom. Additional info: Shooting Dates: June 8-9, subject to change by a couple of days Set meals provided. Locations: Shoreline and Seattle Union Status: SAG-AFTRA Micro Budget Will be made for festival submission. When applying, please include headshots, reels, resumes, and other materials you have, please mention if you are 18+ if applying to the roles of Malcolm or Waldo.

*Lead* Rule-follower, smart, hint of timid. The first to raise his hand in class and the last person to say something if you stepped on his foot on the bus. Rate: $200/day –two days, June 8-9: $400 total + meals
*Supporting* Playful, loyal, maturity wrapped in childishness. Already telling you off for stepping on Waldo’s foot on the bus. Wants to open up a book/smoke café but is never above trying to wet-willy you. Rate: $150/day –two days, June 8-9: $300 total + meals
Always greets you with a fake smile. The bell doesn’t dismiss you, he does. (Good amount of space for interpretation with this character.) Rate: $75/day –one day, June 8th + meals
Owns the local corner store and neighborhood’s warmest smile. They give the boys free bags of chips every morning. Rate: $50/day –one day, June 9th + meals
