The company is holding auditions for "Goodspell" Musical Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. Rate All cast members will receive a participatory stipend. Additional info: Callbacks: Friday, May 16 | 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (All actors must be available) Audition Sign-Up: All actors must request an audition time and complete the online audition form (link provided upon request). What to Prepare: 32 bars (or no more than 90 seconds) of a song that showcases your vocal ability. Bring sheet music in the correct key, an accompanist will be provided. Rehearsals Begin: Monday, June 16 Evenings & Saturdays (No rehearsals on Fridays or Sundays) Schedule will be based on actor availability, with reasonable conflicts accommodated. Performance Run: July 24-August 3 (8 performances) Thursdays - Sundays at 8:00 PM Tech Week: Begins Friday, July 18 (mandatory for all actors) All performers must be comfortable with harmony singing and group storytelling. Instrumental ability (guitar, percussion, etc.) is a plus but not required. Rehearsals will focus on ensemble-building and collaborative storytelling, with an emphasis on each actor's unique talents. (Tenor, A2-G5) The loving and charismatic leader who teaches his followers through parables and song. A warm, gentle presence with great emotional depth, humor, and strength. Must command the stage effortlessly and connect deeply with the ensemble and audience.
(Baritone, A2-E5) John the Baptist prepares the way for Jesus, baptizing him at the beginning of the show. Judas is later torn between devotion and betrayal. This role requires a strong singer and an actor who can navigate both inspirational leadership and internal conflict.
Soprano (C4-F5)-Bright, expressive, and capable of soaring high notes. Often sings the beautiful "Day by Day."
Mezzo-Soprano (B3-E5) - Warm and soulful, often leading heartfelt moments like "By My Side."
Alto (G3-E5) Strong belter, brings depth to songs like "Turn Back, O Man."
Tenor 1 (C3-G5)-Dynamic and expressive, often leading "All Good Gifts."
Tenor 2 (B2-G4)-Energetic and versatile, contributes to harmonies and leads "We Beseech Thee."
Baritone (A2-E4)-Strong comedic skills, often handling playfully mischievous moments.
Bass/Baritone (G2-04)-A grounding presence in the ensemble, deep and resonant vocals,
