Background Acting Audition in a Feature Film

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Upcoming GTA feature film is casting background roles and those with disabilities are encouraged to apply. More details are below. About the project: The film tells the story of Disability activist Judy Heumann leading over a hundred Disabled people to take over the San Francisco Federal Building in 1977, kicking off a 28 day sit-in. They quickly form a tightly bound community, refusing to leave until the government enforces section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, requiring all federal spaces to become accessible. Additional information: No previous acting experience is necessary. Currently scheduled to begin filming in the GTA between May 24-July 17, 2025 and background will be needed for a variety of roles and dates to be determined. The majority of the filming will take place in the Pickering area. Transportation to Pickering will be offered if required. Please, see the attachment.
