"Hello, Dolly" Audition for the Theater
Looking to cast male and female talent for the "Hello, Dolly" play. Please see the details below. About the project: This Musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s hit play, The Matchmaker, bursts with humor, romance, energetic dance and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history, including “So Long Dearie”, “It Takes a Woman”, “Put On Your Sunday Clothes”, “It Only Takes A Moment” and the exuberant title song “Hello Dolly”. The romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher Levi, turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things,” is one of the greatest musicals of all time! Additional info: Callbacks: Mon, May 5 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm; October 9 – November 2, 2025 Please prepare to read from the script. Please prepare to sing between 16 and 32 measures of a musical theatre song (an accompanist will be provided). You will be taught a dance combination as well. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to audition. MUST HAVE A RESUME listing theatrical experience in order to audition. A headshot/picture is appreciated. Please bring a headshot and resume.
