1st lead, Thora. You are 20 or older and can play both lonely Thora and switch to her manic persona at the drop of a hat. Thora reads like a young Ricki Lake, she's got her own thoughts and is tired of being told how to look. She's got something to say, she just needs the look. Her alter ego, Mince, bursts with a manic intensity and punk rock confidence. Think Toshiro Mifune in Rashomon meets Cathy Moriarty in But I'm a Cheerleader. All applicants welcome, regardless of body type.
Thora's aunt. A stylish, spirited seamstress. Caring but a little self-righteous. Chides Thora while she looks out for her. They work together in her atelier.
