Vladimir often reflects on past events, engages in philosophical conversations, and tries to find meaning in their situation. He takes care of Estragon and remains focused on their purpose of waiting for Godot.
Estragon frequently complains of physical pain and struggles to remember past events. He relies on Vladimir for reassurance and often suggests they leave, though he never does.
Pozzo arrives leading Lucky on a rope, displaying authority and demanding attention. In Act 2, his blindness leaves him dependent and vulnerable. He speaks with confidence and often exaggerates his importance.
Lucky follows Pozzo’s commands without question. When instructed to think, he delivers a long, disjointed monologue. In Act 2, he becomes mute and remains subservient.
