Casting call for "Slice of Life" project. Seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Slice of Life is a historically inspired student short film. The production is about introduction of the pizza to American in 1905. Rate: $100 per day of production. IMDB credit & meals provided. Additional info: Non-Union. Virtual session only. Target shooting dates: April 28th to May 2, 2025, from 9am to 4pm (may not shoot the entire week of). (Italian background). A chef of at a family-owned Italian restaurant. He is Marco’s younger brother who has a real passion for cooking their father’s recipes.
(Italian background). The maître-d at a family-owned Italian restaurant. He is Anthony’s older brother, who is stoic and realistic. He runs the financial side of the business.
He is the best friend to Anthony. He loves the brothers deeply but also loves breaking their chops.
He is an uptight know it all food critic for a major newspaper, who hates everything. He is not very impressed with the meals the restaurant is creating.
