Actress Audition in a Short Film "Abyss Within"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Casting two actresses for "Abyss Within" film. Please, see the details below. About the project: Based on my own life, this short film will follow a female being trapped by chronic pain and how it affects her physically and psychologically. Rate: Paid. Travel expenses, gas or flights will be covered and accomodation will also be provided. Additional information: Dates: July 11-13, 2025. Location: Saskatoon. Submissions in by May 17, 2025. When applying, please submit your head shot and directors will send you the audition sides.

The main protagonist; the story is structured around a series of events that highlight Brooke's isolation, her battle with an unseen illness and the impact it has on her relationships and ability to perform daily tasks. She always thinks of people before herself and feels that she is disappointing people while she deals with her health issuses. No one in her life knows the true extent of her pain and struggles. She is trying her best to stay strong and hopeful.
Brooke's close friend; needed for one scene along with voiceovers in post prodcution. Supportive, down-to-earth and brings warmth to the scene.
