He/Him. Thomas is sharp-witted, fiercely opinionated, and deeply passionate about pop culture and Princess Diana. Uses humor a bit like a shield. Though he can be intimidating and aloof, at his core, he longs for connection. He is the longest-standing member of Casey House.
She/her. Compassionate, warm, charismatic, and thoughtful. A courageous humanitarian, who listens attentively. The beloved People’s Princess.
She/her. A highly skilled and dedicated nurse at Casey House. A leader. Fiercely protective of the hospice and its clients. Working diligently to provide a stable atmosphere, even as Diana’s upcoming visit stirs excitement.
Volunteer. Very invested. Maternal energy but with a rebellious streak. She is an enthusiastic ally. In her grief, she sometimes blurs professional boundaries. Positive, hopeful, lighthearted.
He/him. A brand new resident to Casey House. Thomas’ roommate. Struggling and isolated, he is new to Toronto and estranged from his family. Overwhelmed by grief and declining health, he wrestles with alienation, often reacting with anger and resistance.
She/her. Thomas’ sister. Headstrong and opinionated. Was once an important part of Thomas’ social circle. Overwrought with grief and fear, she is often aggressive, but deep down has the capacity for compassion and change.
