Actors Wanted for Production of "Altar Boyz"
Seeking cast for "Altar Boyz" show. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. Rate: Playhouse will supply roundtrip travel from your home to Orlando along with private bedroom housing within cast housing with shared kitchen/bathroom. There is also access to a company car for local use only, if licensed to drive. Salary is paid bi-weekly, and the range is $400-$500. Additional info: Rehearsals would begin the week of April 21st with the show opening May 2nd and running through May 25th. Show schedule is Friday, some double Saturdays, and Sunday with a possibility of adding Thursday as needed. When applying, please include headshot/resume along with a video submission of two pop songs or Boy Band equivalent material. Songs from the show are more than fine. Please also include a movement or dance reel as well.

(Baritone) the groups leader and traditional “heartthrob,” who picks a pretty girl from the audience, sits her up on stage, and sings his big solo number while she swoons – Justin Timberlake type.
(Tenor, comedic) the closeted gay twinkie, a comic master, sensitive with a special soft spot for Cher – Lance Bass type.
(Bass/Baritone) the tough Italian street kid with the hip-hop dance moves and the heart of gold. He was sent away for a while for “exhaustion.” One time he was so “exhausted” he cracked up the van. – Joey Fatone type.
(Baritone) the hot Latino with Ricky Martin moves, a story more heart-breaking than a novella, and hair that gets sexier the more he sweats – Enrique Iglesias type.
(Baritone) the hip-hop Jew.
