About the project: In the decaying underbelly of a crime-ridden city in the early 1990s, 8, a contract killer haunted by his past and hardened by war, wants out of the violent life he's trapped in. Bruised and broken from a job gone wrong, his only solace lies in Hanna, the enigmatic wife of his employer, Stroud—a ruthless crime lord who runs the city like his kingdom. What begins as a forbidden affair quickly spirals into a web of manipulation, betrayal, and deceit. Rate: Union (Non-Union may also apply). SUPPORTING ROLE. Maxim is a ruthless and volatile enforcer, fiercely loyal to his brother, Magnum, and their employer, Stroud. A hardened criminal, Maxim operates with a dangerous mix of brute force, strategic cunning, and emotional instability. He thrives in chaos but struggles to control his emotions, making him unpredictable and terrifying. The role requires a commanding presence and an actor who can balance physicality, rage, and psychological depth.
SUPPORTING ROLE Bee is a sharp, no-nonsense former ER nurse with a tough exterior and a warm heart. A long-time city resident, she’s seen it all and doesn’t scare easy. Despite her age, she still has a strong presence, quick wit, and a survivor’s instinct.
SUPPORTING ROLE. A shifty and opportunistic smuggler whose cunning is overshadowed by his arrogance. Handcuffed to the all-important briefcase, he takes great pride in being the sole keeper of its code, leveraging this fact to stay alive. Though his smug confidence briefly earns him the upper hand, his loyalty extends only to himself, and his quick thinking often lands him in more trouble than it saves him from.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Magnum is a dangerous enforcer working alongside his brother, Maxim, for the crime boss Stroud. Unlike his brother, Magnum isn’t just muscle—he’s unpredictable, quick to violence, and enjoys the chaos of his job. Magnum’s physicality is open—he could be built strong, or have an off-kilter, intimidating look that makes him feel like a loose cannon.
NON-SPEAKING ROLE. Partners with Doyle, an armed and trained professional. The mission does not go as planned and Russo ends up being taken out by a bullet to the back of the head.
ACTOR STUNT ROLE. Intense role where a young thug tries to steal a woman's purse and get's into a heated altercation. Should be very experienced in stunts, and this role has dialogue. Wiry, skid row type and feral. Experience with butterfly knives an asset
