Seeking actors for "The Prom" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage and some good publicity, so when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. Parents in the town want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to the prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens. The result is love that brings them all together. Additional info: Be prepared with sheet music and no more than 32 bars of song. No a cappella singing. Everyone will be expected to learn and perform a brief piece of choreography. Wearing comfortable shoes and clothing is recommended. Rehearsals: The show will rehearse three times per week starting on May 4th. Strike: Saturday 8/9 following performance. Cast Party: Sunday 8/10, location TBD.
