Seeking actors for roles in "Nice Work If You Can Get It". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See breakdown below. Rate: LOA $850 weekly minimum (LOA ref. LORT) Additional info: All roles will be understudied. Seeking experienced performers with strong acting, singing, and dance abilities. Seeking diverse talent. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to audition for NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT -- Winner of 2 Tony Awards. PREPARATION: Please prepare 60 seconds of a song in the style of the show. Gershwin, Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Irving Berlin, etc. No monologue will be required. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. First Rehearsal Date is 9/9/25 Opening Date is 10/9/25 Closing Date is 10/26/25 If you are unable to attend in person, video submissions are welcomed; An Equity Monitor will not be provided. Male-identifying — A fast-talking, wise-cracking bootlegger.
Female-identifying — Thin and lovely, she is the self-proclaimed finest interpreter of modern dance in the world.
Male-identifying — Cookie’s sidekick. Not the brightest guy around. NOTE: Dance ability a plus.
Male-identifying — Eileen’s father. A humorless career politician. Serious, stern, judgmental.
Female-identifying — Duchess of Woodford. A noted prohibitionist and bejeweled dowager.
Female-identifying — A lovely chorus girl from Brooklyn.
Male-identifying — Chief of the Long Island Police Department. Fiercely dedicated to his job.
Female-identifying — A wealthy matron with great élan. Jimmy’s mother.
