About the project: Bouna and Jérémy are two ambitious basketball agents with big dreams and no fear of failure. To break into the NBA, they head to the USA, where they employ wild, hilarious tactics to catch the attention of key GMs and power players. From impromptu meetings in bizarre locations to unconventional pitch strategies, they’ll stop at nothing to make their mark. Their journey takes them from humble beginnings to their ultimate goal: representing the next NBA sensation, and transforming their agency, COMSPORT, into a force to be reckoned with. PREMIER ROLE. 29 Lines - 6 Scenes. Based on the real life Scott Layden. White, 50's, the General Manager of the New York Knicks (and has served as a GM in other Basketball teams). He is often methodical and reserved with a calm, analytical approach to basketball management. He is known for being highly knowledgeable about the game, often taking a thoughtful and patient approach to decision-making.
PREMIER ROLE. 15 Lines - 4 Scenes. Josh Dixon, the General Manager of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Sharp, strategic mind. In his early 40's, he exudes quiet authority, but it’s his integrity and long-term vision that truly command respect. Dixon has a strong Southern accent that's very difficult to decipher. He meets Jeremy and Bouna at a Draft Combine. He speaks at 2,000 miles an hour without articulating. Performer must be able to speak with a pronounced southern accent.
PREMIER ROLE. 29 Lines - 2 Scenes. Don Nelson, white, 60's, the quirky basketball mastermind who redefined coaching with his offbeat, risk-taking style. Known for thinking outside the court, he’s the guy who’ll surprise you with bold strategies and laid-back charm—often rocking a casual look while outsmarting opponents with his innovative plays. Performer must be able to speak with American accent.
PREMIER RÔLE. 31 Lines - 1 Scene. American. He is a smooth talker with a knack for making himself sound like a big deal. He claims he “mutually agreed” to leave his PR job at Nike to explore exciting new opportunities, but in reality, he’s just trying to hustle his way into whatever gig he can find. Performer must be able to speak with American accent.
DEUXIÈME RÔLE. 7 Lines - 1 Scene. American, mid 20's, open ethnicnity, fit - TALL, BASKETBALL PLAYER TYPE. He's practicing basketball in a court in Minneapolis. Bouna and Jeremy approach him and hand him their cellphone, asking him to translate what the person on the other line says, because that person speak with Southern accent and they have a hard time to understand him. Performer must be able to speak with American accent.
TROISIÈME RÔLE. 2 Lines - 1 Scene. A sharp, no-nonsense professional with a smooth customer service flair. He effortlessly balances business with charm, letting Jeremy and Bouna know they’ve got VIP treatment—tables at a 2-Michelin-star restaurant, no less. He’s all about making things run smoothly while ensuring everyone feels taken care of. Performer must be able to speak with American accent.
TROISIÈME RÔLE. 2 Lines - 1 Scene. This Basketball exec oozes confidence and charm. Dressed to impress, he’s the type to make a grand entrance, but tonight he’s all smiles and good vibes, soaking in the celebratory mood at the night club. With a drink in hand and a gleam in his eye, he confidently declares that he believes that Jeremy and Bouna's player is going to be the next big thing in the league. Performer must be able to speak with American accent.
TROISIÈME RÔLE. 2 Lines - 1 Scene. Car rental employee in Minneapolis is trying to keep things smooth when Bouna’s card gets declined. They let Bouna know and ask if they should try again...showing understanfing. Performer must be able to speak with American accent.
