About th eproject: Logline: In the near future, an impious father’s memories are in danger of being wiped away by the religious authorities when he’s caught stealing medication for his son. Synopsis: Near future. The government encourages piety from the people but it’s in the midst of a crackdown on a spiritual pagan sect called The Believers. The most severe punishment is reserved for them - memory wipe. Miko is a man who has no time for religion. He barely can do enough to keep both he and his son, Piojo, fed. When Piojo experiences an asthma attack, Miko decides to steal medicine for him, but he’s discovered by the authorities. Sentenced to the memory wipe, Miko’s only chance at holding on to memories of Piojo lies with The Believers. Rate: Unpaid (Catering will be provided).
