Actors and Extras Call for "The Place We Met" Film
ONLY LOCA TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. The production of "The Place We Met" is looking for cast and extras. More details are below. About the project: ANASTASIA KOZAK and IVAN MELYNK meet when they, literally, bump into one another in war-torn Ukraine. During a coffee date immediately after meeting it’s clear they are falling in love very quickly. Before concluding their first date and exchanging contact information, the are two are separated due to an evacuation necessitated by a Russian attack. Immediately after this scene, we cut to Anastasia singing the theme song for THE PLACE MET film. This will be shot in front of a green screen, with the final video showing a montage of images in the background. Rate: Non-Union. Lead $100.00. Extras $50.00/half day. Additional information: Type of Production: Proof of Concept Short Film. Shooting Location: Calgary - CSIF & other location TBD. Shoot Date: March/April 2025 date TBD based on availability. Anastasia clearly enjoys singing. Yet, can see on her face that she’s suffered a great trauma. Her music is therapy to her.

Ukrainian or Ukrainian looking, this actor is ANASTASIA’s best friend and is a tagalong during ANASTASIA and IVAN’S coffee date. While sitting right beside ANASTASIA, she sends her a text urging her to get Ivan’s number, just before they get separated in the chaos of war.
Will need a few extras for the shopping scene in the mall and in the coffee shop.
