**Synopsis:** A mother is the backbone of a family, providing wisdom, family stories, and unconditional love. In the Whitman family, dignity and pride are passed down through generations. After a tough divorce, Deborah Whitfield-Parker hid her struggles from her children. With support from her parents, she finished school and built a successful catering business. Deborah’s children, Sharon and Sean, are her greatest treasures. Sharon recently married her best friend, Kevin Lee. As they learn to navigate marriage together, Sharon hopes to be as loving a mother as Deborah was. However, when Kevin’s career shifts, she realizes that real life is beginning. Sean, Deborah’s younger child, is a star athlete in college and enjoys his life with his girlfriend, Candice. However, he struggles to take his relationship seriously. He will soon learn that life needs more than just fun. Join this family as they experience lessons, love, and blessings in “Mama.”
