ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. The company is searching for a dynamic, engaging, and delightfully grumpy Grinch to bring some mischievous holiday cheer to this year's Hyde Park Christmas Market! See the details below. Rate: $150/hr. Additional information: Saturday, November 29: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Sunday, November 30: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Experience in acting, improvisation, or interactive performance is a plus, but not required! Submssion deadline: May 30, 2025. When applying, please submit a short video (1-2 minutes) showcasing your best Grinch impression! Show them your Grinchy voice, mannerisms, and how you’d interact with event guests. Someone who can fully embody the Grinch—from his mischievous antics to his heartwarming moments. Strong improv skills and the ability to read the crowd—know when to be hilariously grumpy and when to show a softer side. Comfort in singing, dancing, and engaging with guests of all ages. Ability to interact with Mrs. Claus, market vendors, and attendees in an entertaining and festive way.
