Short Film Passion - In the Headlights
Looking for possible actors around the ages of 16-22 for a passion project short film. The in working title is “In the Headlights,” the script is 39 pages long, and has nine acts. The genre is a psychological thriller/drama. The film is mostly live-action with some animated elements. Below is concept art and a work in progress animation for the film. NOT-PAID, NON-UNION. All the characters are gender neutral and will change depending on who I cast. There are three characters I am looking for people to play which is the main character “Perdita/Ezren,” the side characters “June,” and “August.” Auditions will be done through video recordings that’ll be sent to me through email. I’ll be taking and reviewing auditions recording from March 23rd to March 31ist. The auditions will be fully reviewed by the fifth of April. I’ll contact you through email if you got the part after the day of reviewing.

They have a tough time communicating with other people. They often zone and distance themselves from people when it gets too serious. They care about their friend and want to tell them what’s happening and they’re feeling, but they’re afraid. They overthink a lot and are still very attached to August.
Staying only in the relationship with Perdita because of their past history. Thinking this is just a blip and Perdita will go back to the way they were. They love Perdita, and deeply care about them, but blind to their behavior. Ignorant to Perdita’s real feelings. The only reason they stay in a relationship with Perdita is because this is the first relationship they’ve ever been in and don’t want to be alone.
They have been friends with Perdita longer than Ridley and have already made efforts before to try and help them. They’re fed up with Perdita’s behavior and wish to move on. Becoming more and more irritated with Perdita imposing on their life. Making it clear to Perdita that they want nothing to do with them.
