19. Princess Josephine, or "Josie" has been confined to her tower from a young age, supposedly because she is "not ready to rule." While she suspects that there might be another reason for Count Lamont insisting she stay there, she also has no tangible reason to doubt him and trusts in his experience. Through the play's events, she discovers that she has a mysterious power to control the weather with her emotions, which is why she has been locked away in the tower.

18. Raised from a young age to take the throne, his genuine love for Josie has grown to a point where he truly wants what's best for her. He has taken a role in the underground intelligence network to overthrow his father.
