About the project: ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. The story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, including “Dancing Queen”, “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme”, and “The Winner Takes It All”, propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter, and friendship. Additional info: Those interested in auditioning should prepare 24–32 measures of a song in the style of the show. You may sing a song from MAMMA MIA! or any ABBA song. Auditions will begin with the dance portion, so please wear appropriate footwear and attire. Performances: July 17–27, 2025 Please apply if interested.

(female presenting) Also a former singer in the “Dynamos” who now writes for and runs a feminist press. She’s confident, strong, and funny on the outside but shy underneath. Kooky and fun, good comic actress, bit of a clown. Actress who sings. Must move well. (mezzo soprano) E3-D5
(male presenting) May be Sophie’s father. Left Donna 20 years ago because he was engaged to another woman. Charming, successful architect. Actor who sings. (baritone) D3-Ab4
(MALE PRESENTING, ENGLISH) Another of Sophie’s potential fathers and a respected London banker. Once a head-banging, partying musician who went down the straight road - at least with his career. He is quirky, in the closet and something of a romantic nostalgist. A nice guy, determined to make up for some past regrets and full of singing. (baritone-tenor) C3-F#
