He isn't the kind of guy who chases the thrill. However, this time it seems to find him.After getting into a fight with debtor's, Owens drifts through the seedy lower-class streets, with only one goal in mind; stay out of trouble and keep his cards close to him, both external and internal.

She uses her boldness to mask her vulnerability and regret at getting married at such a tender age. She chooses to start an affair with the local gas station's boss, in the hopes that he will give her his full devotion and desire to leave her husband and the memories of him in the past.
