Casting Actors for a Paid Short Film "Black Gate"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Seeking cast to play roles in production of "Black Gate". More details are below. About the project: After the death of his friend, lost in grief and drowning in regret, Eric stumbles upon a mysterious portal, allowing him to reset the day. Desperate to change fate, he tries again and again, but each reset twists reality in unsettling ways. Will he learn to let go, or suffer the consequences of a loop that refuses to break? Rate: This is a paid, non-union short film production. Additional information: Tentative shoot dates are either June 19th-21st OR June 26-28th 2025. While no previous acting experience is required, set etiquette is important to the projects running effectively and smoothly. Please, see the attachment. Eric is the lead in Black Gate, the foil to Matt's humorous nature, he is a serious individual who occasinally lets out a wild side. The main emotional core to Eric's character is the idea of letting go, not trying to control life and subsequently Matt's death.
Matt is the comdeic heart at the center of this dark thriller, he lightens the tenstions of Eric's worrying nature. Matt is a perpetual optimist, always looking at the bright side of any drab situation.
