Robert is the main protagonist of the film. He is a Chinese transfer student studying and practicing photography, He is quiet and tacka confidence, often mimick ing the mannerisms and behaviours of influential maitt figures in his life.
Dr. Walter Langlekler is a university professor specializing in photography and fine arts. He is tall and imposing, dressed in a sleek beige sull. He embodies the tried and true qualities of a distinguished male scholar, from his astute speech patterns to his unwavering body posture.
Madelaine is a fashion model and wife of Dr. Langfeider. She is reserved bul carries horsell with a beautiful confidence. She is happily submissive to her husband. whom she believes to be of tremendous importance to academia.
