Casting Call for "Circle Mirror Transformation" Stage Play
Looking for talent for the "Circle Mirror Transformation" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set in a windowless dance studio in Shirley, VT. Five strangers gather to take a 6-week “Adult Creative Drama” class. Marty takes the students through a variety of acting exercises. In one exercise, each of them has a monologue that tells the life story of one of the other students. Each of the five reveals themselves and tiny wars are waged. A beautifully crafted diorama, a petri dish in which we see, with humorous detail and clarity, the quintet’s loves and losses. Additional info: Actors will be asked to present a monologue from the attached document. If callbacks are needed, they will be held at Hole in the Wall Theater on Thursday, April 10th at 7 pm. This show will run from May 30th to June 14th. If interested, please apply.
