Seeking Actors for Student Movies
Casting call for student short films. In need of cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: University students will be producing three original short films as a part of the Narrative Television Initiative (NTVI). Film 1: PRETEND I’M SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT follows a Las Vegas hitman on the way to his first hit. Before he can go through with it, though, he is visited by Joan of Arc, who shows him a different path. Film 2: GREEN BEAN is a story about an eight-year-old girl who is forced to grow up too quickly, but her newfound friend Charlie helps remind her to stay little. Film 3: AWAKE AT DAWN is a dark comedy that follows Janet and Clark, a retired couple, as they obliviously stumble through the start of a zombie apocalypse. Rate: This is a student led project so compensation is credit and copy. Additional info: Production will begin in the middle of May and last about two weeks. When applying, please include your desired role, a photo of yourself, and a resume. The casting team will reach out to schedule auditions.
