Rate: Travel Expense, Catering,This is a mostly a volunteer role but willing to pay for talented actors with experience. Aiming this film to compete in SXSW Film Festival. LEAD. A seasoned real estate agent tasked with selling a house that has been sitting in the market for too long. He is confident but increasingly disturbed by the eerie inconsistencies he encounters. Requires strong emotional range and subtle psychological shifts. Playing age: 30-35. MUST portray tension, paranoia, and unease convincingly.
2ND LEAD. A seasoned detective investigating the house for undisclosed reasons. Sharp, skeptical, and unshaken by strange occurrences until things don’t add up. Requirements: Playing age: 35-45. Strong presence and ability to play authority convincingly.
SUPPORTING. A gaunt, jittery young man with ties to a criminal operation. A newbie who the gang takes him for granted. His paranoia grows as he realizes something is terribly off with the house. Examples: More like Jessie Pinkman vibes. Requirements: Playing age: 20-26. Must handle intense emotional scenes and physical tension. Must be able to wear injury make up that depicts bruises and gashes.
SUPPORTING. A stubborn, grumpy, old-fashioned man attending the open house with his wife. Initially skeptical, his confusion intensifies as reality distorts. Requirements: Playing age: 60-70. Needs to express growing disorientation subtly.
SUPPORTING. A composed and caring woman trying to keep her husband at ease, but soon becomes as bewildered as him. Requirements: Playing age: 60-70. Strong ability to convey concern and quiet confusion.
SUPPORTING. A desperate father hoping to buy the house as a last chance to save money for his son's treatment. His joy turns to despair when reality shifts. Requirements: Playing age: 35-40. Strong emotional performance required.
SUPPORTING. Michael’s wife, skeptical about the house and increasingly disturbed by its strange effects. Requirements: Playing age: 35-40. Must convey skepticism turning into quiet horror.
ANTAGONIST. A ruthless criminal overseeing illegal deals. He doesn’t believe in superstition—until the house proves otherwise. Requirements: Playing age: 30- 40. Strong ability to portray intimidation and menace.
MINOR ROLES. Ray’s men, involved in shady dealings. They follow orders but are increasingly unnerved by the house. Requirements: Playing age: 25-40. Ability to convey street-smart toughness.
