Actors Needed for Movie Casting in NJ
"The Proctor" feature film seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL & NY TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see more info below. About the project: Casting for "The Proctor", a full-length feature film. This modern-day comedy-drama is a throwback to the iconic teen films of the 1980s, reimagined for modern day—think "John Hughes Meets Gen Z." Rate: Unpaid, meals provided. Additional info: Seeking talented actors for a variety of lead and supporting roles. Non union. Location: Long Island. NJ talent may apply, although travel/housing budget is extremely limited. Many roles, though, will only have a few days of call, so that may make it more feasible for out-of-towners. Filming from June through September 2025. When applying, please include your headshot and video link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc., unlisted or public) with the subject line: “The Proctor Casting – [Your Name]”. Include your full name, age range you can play, and contact info. Requirements: *Headshots: A simple, unfiltered photograph that reflects how you’ll look on set. No over-glamorized, heavily edited, or filtered images, please—just the real you. *Video: A short, naturalistic-style scene or monologue (1-3 minutes). Show your ability to embody a character authentically.
