Audition for "If you Stare, Smile" PSA

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors with visibly apparent disabilities for a meaningful short piece about the societal impact of staring in "If you Stare, Smile" PSA. More details are below. About the project: This short piece explores the societal issue of staring, specifically how it affects persons with disabilities. While staring is often an instinctive reaction, it can also lead to feelings of being "othered." The goal of this PSA is to encourage a simple shift in behavior: redirecting the response of staring into a shared smile. By recognizing this natural response while addressing its impact, we hope to lessen the discomfort for those on the receiving end and create a more inclusive social environment. Rate: Volunteer. Additional information: Shoot Date: March 29, 2025. Location: North Vancouver. The project will involve: 1 day of location. Filming 1 day of voice work in a recording studio.
