Singing Auditions for "Seussical The Musical"
The company is holding auditions for "Seussical The Musical" and looking for actors, please see the details below ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Audition Requirements: Please come prepared to sing approximately 16-32 bars of music. Directors encourage your song choice to relate to the style and story of Seussical but ask you not to audition with a song from the show. Please bring your own instrumental or karaoke track, as there will not be a pianist present. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided. Directors recommend downloading or screen recording your track to your device prior to your audition, as to avoid any potential connectivity issues. This production is rated ‘PG’ Rehearsal Dates and Times: There will be a cast and company meeting/orientation on March 16th at 7:00PM. Rehearsals for this production will be held Sunday through Wednesday from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Performances: Running the weekends of May 23 - June 14 for a total of 16 public performances, including two double-show days on select Saturdays. This production will also have 2-4 additional school shows the morning of May 28th OR May 29th. These school shows will be an abridged 45-60 minute version of the full production. Father to Jojo and the mayor of Whoville. Trying to keep his town and his family happy and secure, which can be proven a difficult job when your whole world is floating on a dust speck in the air! Puppeteering experience is a plus!
