Audition for Theater Play "Always a Bridesmaid"
Directors are currently in need of male and female performers for production of "Always a Bridesmaid". Please, see the details below. About the play: In this hilarious comedic romp, four friends have sworn to keep the promise they made on the night of their senior prom to be in each other’s wedding. 30 years later these four southern friends are still honoring this commitment while asking themselves “how far are you willing to go to keep a promise to a friend”. Additional information: Production Dates: July 16 – August 2, 2025 at 7:30 pm (Wednesdays – Saturdays) and matinees on July 20 & 27 at 2:30 pm (Sundays). Actors MUST be available for ALL performances and tech runs. Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Please bring indoor shoes, water and snacks. No sock feet, wet boots/shoes will be allowed on the stage. Audition Location: Ottawa, ON.

Female presenting. A hopeless romantic with a sweet country charm. She is a straight shooter who tells it like it is while still be able to be kind.
Female presenting. The hostess of the wedding venue where she has never let a bride get away. She is gregarious and energetic. Strong comedic skills required.
Female presenting. Little sassy and trashy and always ready to use her southern flair to flirt.
Female presenting. A free-spirited tree hugger in Birkenstocks.
Female presenting. She is a northern transplant with dry wit and a no-nonsense attitude.
