Actors Needed for "The Sibling Hour" Table Read
Seeking actors to participate in a table read for a script for a short film "The Sibling Hour". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: The Sibling Hour tells a story of John and Hannah who have been estranged since their mother passed away two years ago. One night, a horrible accident forces them together and they must face their past. Rate: non-paid. Additional info: It is set to be a non-union production. The event will be virtual and it will be on the day of the 15th of March. A time will be set soon for that day. Please note: participating in the table read is not a guarantee of casting in the final production. Set to be in production later in 2025. When applying, please include resume and headshot.

Mid-20s: John is a journalist working at a local newspaper. He's always been the golden boy of the family finding success in everything he does. He is struggling to move forward with his life after the loss of his mother, and his subsequent estrangement from his sister.
John's older sister. A bit of a black sheep who has never seemed to measure up to her brother. She is stubborn, reckless, and a bit of a lone wolf. She is a bartender who's been navigating alcoholism ever since her mother died two years ago.
John's Therapist. Compassionate, dedicated, truly cares about her patients.
Mid-20s: John's best friend who works at the same newspaper. Charismatic, lighthearted, and loyal. He always looks out for John and often plays matchmaker.
Hannah's doctor after her accident. He/ She is competent, patient, and dedicated. They are compassionate, but willing to push back on her stubbornness.
Hannah's Psychiatrist. Adept at his job, but a bit aloof and impersonal. His focus has been on helping Hannah with her depression and sobriety through medication.
Kind, dedicated, efficient.
