Performers Needed for "Jasper in Deadland" Show
The company is holding auditions for "Jasper in Deadland" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: This is a volunteer non-union production. Additional info: Rehearsals will begin on April 11th. The rehearsal schedule will be provided on the day of your audition, then final rehearsal schedule will be built based on performer availability. The production runs May 30th - June 8th, 2025, with performances Friday – No conflicts with technical rehearsals or performance dates will be permitted. Actors will be scheduled for a 10 minute Audition where we would like you to prepare: One Comedic Monologue that is around one minute. Character Voices are a big selling point for this show. All actors cast will play multiple roles. Two songs to show off your Vocal Ability. Suggested - One Ballad then one Up-tempo Song. Select a preferred cut of your song that showcases your skill-around one minute each. If you choose to start at the beginning, be aware that you may be asked to stop in order for auditions to stay on schedule. This show is a comedy, please keep that in mind when selecting your audition materials. There will not be an accompanist in attendance for the audition, please find a Music Minus One (karaoke track) to accompany you. Directors will provide a Bluetooth speaker to connect to. Please bring a copy of your Resume, an up-to-date headshot, as well as a list of any current conflicts you have Between April through June 8th. Three Headed Dog that gaurds the gates of Deadland for their master Pluto. Played by three actors who personify their Puppet Counterparts. Must be able to sing in an Operatic Style. Mezzo-Soprano/Tenor/Baritone.
Left behind by her lover Orpheus. She is the guardian of the River of Lethe, acts as the deus ex machina for the lovers Jasper and Agnes. Alto.
Mr. Lethe's trusty assistant who is secretly in love with them.
A 2,000-year-old wacky but loving pilot. As if grandma from Addams Family found her way to a Mad Max Hellscape..and is thriving! Alto.
